Step 9
Find the OpenVPN Configuration File zip file you downloaded in 'Step 1', typically in your Downloads folder.

Some versions of macOS/browsers will automatically extract the zip file, if this is the case you will see the 'BT-xxxx' folder already.

If not, double-click on the BT-xxx.zip file, to extract it. Then you should see a 'BT-xxx' folder.

Double-click on the 'BT-xxxx' folder.

Step 10
You will now see all of the OpenVPN Configuration files for your account - named SV-xxxxx-xxxxx.ovpn.

If you switch to List view, shown by the red arrow at the top, it will make it easier to view the configuration files.

Double-click on the configuration file you want to import, we recommend you start with 'Port 1 - Performance'.

Which options should I use?!

  • Port 1, 2, 3 are labelled 'Performance', these are typically the fastest
  • Port 4, 5, 6 are labelled 'Fallback', these may be required from some restricted locations
  • We recommend you experiment, to see which works best for you.

Step 11
Click Only Me

Step 12
If prompted with a screen like the below, enter your macOS Username and Password. This is not your StreamVia VPN username/password. Click OK.

Step 13
Click the tunnel icon in the top right of your screen and select an option you wish to connect.

Step 14
Enter your VPN Username and VPN Password that you retrieved in 'Step 1', enable Save in keychain to the save the username/password, click OK
