Here you can find setup information for your chosen VPN and also how to fix any problems you might encounter.

You can use the Table of Contents on the right hand side of this window to navigate between the different sections.

Step 1
Retrieve your VPN username and password, if you are a new member this is contained in the StreamVia Account Information email you received after ordering.

Install the OpenVPN Connnect App. App Store link below.

Next, we need to install our server options into the OpenVPN App.

Open the below link in Safari, not a 3rd party browser, to download the OpenVPN Connect configuration files. Most people will require 'Standard' configuration files:

From the list of configuration files (link above) tap the OpenVPN Configuration file you want to import, i.e where you want to appear to be.

We STRONGLY recommend you repeat these steps, to import ALL options for your chosen location, for example all UK, USA options. This will allow you to experiment, to see which works best from your physical location.

'Option 2' will probably work best from censored locations, China, Iran, UAE, etc, but try 'Option 1' as well.

Tap Download

Next, access your Downloads, indicated by the arrow

Tap the Downloaded OpenVPN profile, indicated by the arrow

With the screen showing the 'OpenVPN Profile', top right-hand corner tap the copy/share button indicated by the arrow. We are now going to copy the configuration to the OpenVPN App.

On the row of icons showing AirDrop, Messages, Mail, scroll right to the very end.

At the very end, tap 'More'

Under the Suggestions heading, tap Copy to OpenVPN

Tap Add, to import the configuration file

Enter your VPN username (usually your full email address at the point of ordering), enable 'Save Password and enter VPN password, this can be found in the StreamVia Account Information email, it is case sensitive so please copy and paste

Tap Allow

Move the slider to On

If you see the below screen when you start OpenVPN, select OVPN Profile to see your VPN options

In the OpenVPN App, click the burger/menu icon (3 horizontal lines), then Settings

Step 2
Enable Reconnect on Wakeup if you want the VPN to try and reconnect after the devices wakes up from sleep.

Enable Seamless tunnel

Set Connection timeout: Continuously Retry

Tap < Settings top left to go back

If the VPN is currently connected, go into the OpenVPN Connect app move the slider to Off, then reconnect, for the changes to take effect
