You can use the Table of Contents on the right hand side of this window to navigate between the different sections.
Overview of the process in a YouTube walk-through-video below, step-by-step instructions below the walk-through-video on this page.
Retrieve your VPN username and password, if you are a new member this is contained in the StreamVia Account Information email you received after ordering.
Install the OpenVPN Connect App from the 'App Store' (i.e the Apple 'App Store' on your device). Make sure you continue reading below, as you will also need to install the StreamVia configuration files in order to connect.
Open the below link in Safari, not a 3rd party browser, to download the OpenVPN Connect configuration files. Most people will require 'Standard' configuration files:
From the list of configuration files (link above) tap the OpenVPN Configuration file you want to import, i.e where you want to appear to be.
We STRONGLY recommend you repeat these steps, to import ALL options for your chosen location, for example all UK, USA options. This will allow you to experiment, to see which works best from your physical location.
'Option 2' will probably work best from censored locations, China, Iran, UAE, etc, but try 'Option 1' as well.
Tap Open in OpenVPN
Tap the + sign, to import the configuration file
Enter your VPN username (usually your full email address at the point of ordering) and VPN password, this can be found in the StreamVia Account Information email, it is case sensitive so please copy and paste
Move the slider to On
We STRONGLY recommend you repeat from 'Step 3' above, to import ALL options for your chosen location, for example all UK, USA options. This will allow you to experiment, to see which works best from your physical location.
On the iOS device, go to the main iOS Settings (where you connect WiFi, set the date etc)
Scroll down to OpenVPN
Enable Seamless tunnel
Set Connection timeout: none
Tap < Settings top left to go back
If the VPN is currently connected, go into the OpenVPN Connect app move the slider to Off, then reconnect, for the changes to take effect
