Here you can find SmartStream setup information for your chosen device and also which services you can access whilst using SmartStream.
You can use the Table of Contents on the right hand side of this window to navigate between the different sections.
IMPORTANT: Some recent H series onwards sold outside of the UK seem to be unable to set a UK region on SmartHub, i.e to download UK Apps or use UK Apps. Some have, unfortunately, a hard coded region setting.
If you find the below does not work for you, try the 'Alternative Method' guide instead, specifically on H series onwards TVs

Step 1
Choose the closest SmartStream DNS server to your current location using the below list, you will need this later.
Step 2
Retrieve your VPN username and password, if you are a new member this is contained in the StreamVia Account Information email you received after ordering.
Step 3
First, make sure the TV is successfully connected to your router/internet connection. Then, the source of the television to “TV” by using the Source button on the remote
Step 4
On the remote, select the Menu option/button, you may also need to use the on-screen menu to select the Menu option. The menu should then appear on your television screen
Step 5
Using the remote, navigate to the System portion of the Main Menu, and then click to enter the submenu
Step 6
Select Setup, click this to begin the setup
Step 7
You should now begin the on-screen setup that you completed when you first bought the television. To make things easier, your previously entered information should be retained
Step 8
Continue through the on-screen setup until you arrive at the Smart Hub Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy page in the on-screen setup
Step 9
Before doing anything else, and with the Smart Hub Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy page up on the TV press the following buttons in sequential order.
If your remote features separate Return and Exit buttons, only push the Return button.
Mute → Return/Exit → Vol Up → Ch Up → Mute
If the above key sequence does not work, please try the below i.e omitting the return/exit, this is known to work on some J, K, M & MU series onwards TV:
Mute → Vol Up → Ch Up → Mute
Step 10
The list of various countries should appear. Select your country, UK, from the list and then click to continue.

Go to SmartHub screen

Press menu button

Scroll down to Network
Step 14
Network Status
Step 15
Click IP Settings, when you get the 'settings complete' screen
Step 16
Do *not* change anything under the 'IP Setting' header, i.e it must stay on automatic
Step 17
Scroll down to DNS Setting, change to 'enter manually'
Step 18
Enter the SmartStream DNS server you chose in Step 1
Only the SmartStream DNS servers should be listed, delete any others
Step 19
Click OK, OK, etc until you are out of the settings
Step 20
Unplug the TV, wait 10 seconds or so
Step 21
Use the below link to sign in to SmartStream using your VPN username and password, this will activate SmartStream for your current broadband IP address. It is recommended you do this from a computer.
Should your broadband connection IP address change (if your router restarts or your ISP resets your connection) you will need to repeat this step of signing in, to update our systems.

Scroll down to Network

Network Status

Click IP Settings, when you get the 'settings complete' screen
Step 6
Do *not* change anything under the 'IP Setting' header, i.e it must stay on automatic
Step 7
Scroll down to DNS Setting, make sure it is set to 'Automatic'
Step 8
Click OK, OK, etc until you are out of the settings
Step 9
Unplug the TV, wait 10 seconds or so
