Amazon Fire TV - SmartStream

Here you can find SmartStream setup information for your chosen device and also which services you can access whilst using SmartStream.

You can use the Table of Contents on the right hand side of this window to navigate between the different sections.

N.B. Support for Amazon Fire TV is only available with our 'Special' SmartStream DNS server, it also ONLY supports UK sites and REQUIRES an Amazon UK account.

Please follow the correct guide depending on how your box is connected to your router, i.e Cabled vs Wireless.

Amazon Account

IMPORTANT: You MUST be using a www.amazon.co.uk account (NOT .de, .jp, .fr, .com, etc), if needed use another email address and register a separate account on www.amazon.co.uk

Step 1
Go to https://www.amazon.co.uk/mycd

Step 2
Sign in with your UK account if prompted

Step 3
Using the below link/screenshot as a guide (of our Amazon account), click 'Settings' then make sure you have a UK card registered for 'Digital Payment Settings' and that 'Country Settings' are also set to 'UK', UK address etc. As shown in the below screenshot from our account.

Step 4
On the Fire stick itself, open Settings from the Fire TV menu.

Step 5
Go to My Account.

Step 6
Tap on Deregister

Once the device has deregistered, you will get 2 options - create a new account, or sign in/register with an existing account. Sign in/register with your existing Amazon UK account. Providing you only deregister and then re-register the IP/DNS configuration will *not* be reset on the device, only if you do a full/factory reset.
